CLINT, Paris 11e (Philippe Auguste)

As a Egg Benedict/ poached eggs addict, Clint has now become my number 1 brunch spot! Clint is a beautiful place, perfect for a Saturday or Sunday brunch: The menu offers a good choice of American classic dishes for brunch (pancakes and bacon, muffins, eggs etc). The versions suggested are quite limitless for poached eggs: with grilled bacon and guacamole or with salmon, avocado… you will find what you like.

The line is long at the front, you can definitely tell that Clint has that trendy vibe that the young crowd is looking for in Paris. The ambiance is casual yet stylish and the decoration is quite elegant (Scandinavian style). The place is very bright and the staff was super friendly and were definitely not grim when we asked for a little customisation of our dish (which is pretty unusual for Paris!) – NOTE: the first time I went there was amazing as described, but my second experience was actually quite bad: staff was rude and they had run out of bacon and scramble eggs at 2pm on a Sunday….

You even have a little shop with grocery products for last minute gifts and a terrasse for… warmer times!

The + + +

Brunch menu / Poached eggs dishes

Super friendly staff and great flexibility if you need to change some items in your order

The – – –

The restaurant gets quite noisy

The wait… Don’t get there too hungry because you will at least 40 minutes before you get your dish! -_-
