The Loeb Boathouse, Central Park

SUMMERDAYZ… here we go! And I want to say ‘finally’…What could be nicer than being on the boat while taking some sun? 😀 Well, dear New Yorkers… when the weather is beautiful out, you can now go to the LOEB BOATHOUSE in Central Park (opened since mid-April). You can’t say no to an affordable boating experience!

WHERE IS IT? You can get off at 77th St on the EAST side and walk there. You can also take a stroll through the park from Columbus Circle.

HOW MUCH? $15/hour per boat (CASH ONLY!) and $3 for each additional 15 minutes. Careful, there is a $20 cash deposit as well! You can be up to 4 people in a boat.

WHEN? 10am-6pm, everyday (weather permitting)

There are 100 rowboats only so the wait can be insane on the week end… but it’s worth it! Otherwise you can go early in the morning or I would advise you to go before noon.

You can then enjoy a drink by the lake after the effort…
